OMMAIS Chat is a free AI chat that runs in your browser. Instead of one model answering alone, a panel plans the work, splits it between specialists on different models, argues out the disagreements, checks the numbers, and writes one answer. Use it straight away on a free cloud model, or on your own models so nothing you type leaves your computer.

How it is different from ChatGPT
ChatGPT, like most AI chat apps, sends your question to one large model in a company's data centre and shows you its answer. OMMAIS answers simple questions the same way: one model, quickly. When a question deserves more, it does something a single model cannot do on its own:
- It splits the work. A planning seat writes a separate brief for each of three specialists, so a long analysis or a multi-part program becomes pieces each one can finish well.
- It disagrees with itself. The specialists run on different models, which make different mistakes. Where they contradict each other, a judging seat decides which to believe.
- It checks the arithmetic. Numbers in the specialists' work are compared by calculation, not by another model's opinion.
- It shows its work. Every seat's reasoning streams into the page as it happens.
Three buttons set how much of this you want: Fast (one model, quickest), Balanced (one model, which offers the panel when it thinks it needs help), and Deep (the full panel).

Where your words go
This is the part most chat apps leave vague. With your own models through Ollama, nothing you type leaves your computer. On the free default, your prompts go from your browser straight to LLM7.io. Is OMMAIS Chat free?
Yes. With no setup it runs on a free cloud model (Mistral Nemo through LLM7.io) that needs no API key. Running your own models through Ollama is also free. If you add a paid provider's key, that provider bills you directly.
Do I need an account or a password?
No account and no password. The chat asks for an email address to open. A passphrase is optional: add one and your conversations are saved, encrypted, in your own browser. Leave it out and nothing is stored.
How is OMMAIS Chat different from ChatGPT?
ChatGPT answers with one model. OMMAIS can put a whole panel on a question: a planning seat splits the work, three specialist seats on different models each take a part, a judging seat weighs where they disagree, and a final seat writes one answer. Is OMMAIS Chat private?
That depends on the model you choose. With your own models through Ollama, nothing you type leaves your computer. On the free default, your prompts go from your browser to LLM7.io. With a provider key of your own, they go to that provider. They never pass through the OMMAIS site, and saved conversations are encrypted in your browser.
Which AI models can I use?
Any model you run locally with Ollama, the free default cloud model, or models from 21 cloud providers with your own key — including OpenRouter, Groq, Google Gemini, Mistral, DeepSeek, Hugging Face, OpenAI, Anthropic and xAI. Each is marked free, free tier or paid.
Can it run completely offline on my own computer?
The models can. Install Ollama and pull a model, and your own models appear in every seat of OMMAIS Chat. Switch the seats to them and your questions and files stay on your machine. The page itself still loads from the web.
